Incompetence Abounds

Landlords are often portrayed as scheming, opportunistic, and greedy. To be fair, many of them are! But some landlords don’t seem to have a clue about how to do their job. Landlord Alex, for example, still needs to learn how to cash out a check at the bank.

That, of course, didn’t prevent him from trying to scam one of his tenants into paying him a second security deposit. He “woodlike” to get a new security deposit every year but was promptly informed that’s not how things work.
