It’s not that strange to compare a landlord to a dictator. While there are many amazing landlords out there, the truth is that most are seen as controlling, insensitive, and callous (sometimes simply because of their job description). But how far can one evil landlord go?

One thing is to raise the rent; another is to “forget” about fixing a broken buzzer; but denying pizza to a fellow human being? That seems to be the tipping point for this desperate renter.
