Ignorance Persists

We’re deep into the 21st century, but some things seem to never change. While being gay is, for the most part, well-accepted in today’s Western world, gay people still have to deal with the occasional ignorant homophobe from time to time. This landlord had the nerve to accuse a gay couple of not being a “regular couple.”

According to Reuters, close to 99% of the LGBTQIA+ students inquired in one of their surveys reported hearing “disparaging comments” about their romantic orientation.
