Keeping the Tenants Busy

This exchange of messages reveals a strange logic. Tenants pay their landlords to reside in their property, meaning they’re the landlord’s clients in a way. But some landlords see things the other way around, almost as if their tenants have the moral duty of helping them with all house-related tasks.

This is an extreme example, as the landlord even has the nerve to mention his tenant’s boyfriend and a few specific cleaning products. Please stop doing things for your landlord Jamie; that’s HIS job!
