Unseen Australia – The World’s Best, Scariest Country Is a Land Like No Other

An Arachnophobe’s Nightmare

Sadly, the words “spider season” have nothing to do with releasing a new Spider-Man movie. In Australia, they’re used to describe a time of the year when the fields get covered by a mist-like juncture of spider webs. The phenomenon doesn’t just occur in the region of Victoria, but it’s primarily associated with that state.

Spider season happens during winter when spiders produce a specific type of very thin web that allows them to travel more efficiently. Victoria locals got more than used to the annual infestation; to a foreign, though, spider season looks like something coming straight out of a nightmare.
