Chilling, the Australian Way
If you visit a friend’s home in Australia and find a pair of trainers and shorts in their fridge, don’t worry. Your friend isn’t crazy, nor the first Australian to use the fridge as a personal closet. Temperatures can get so high in the land down under that people use fridges to make their clothes colder!
There’s one advantage to putting clothes in the freezer in warm Australia. When frozen, laundry items can be more easily clean, especially if they’re dirty with chewing gum, wax, or other gluey substance.
