Unseen Australia – The World’s Best, Scariest Country Is a Land Like No Other

Big Pythons? Check!

If you thought it was hard to feel surprised by Australia’s scary fauna anymore, we have three words: Australian scrub python. Pythons are a family of typically large, nonvenomous snakes endemic to Africa, Asia, and Australia. The huge Australian scrub python is the largest in the country and one of the largest in the world.

Primarily found in northern Australia, the Australian scrub python can be as long as 24 feet! Even scarier is that it loves to hang on the top of trees, meaning there’s a real chance one of these can fall on top of you if you’re hanging out in the Australian outback.
