Catherine Zeta-Jones – T-Mobile Girl
In 2002, Catherine Zeta-Jones signed up to become an ambassador for T-mobile. She was allegedly paid $10 million yearly for the deal and became the highest-paid celebrity endorser that year. John Stanton, then head of T-Mobile’S North American operations, described the Oscar-winning actress as the “tour de force” to help deliver T-Mobile’s GET MORE message.
Commenting on the endorsement, Jones said that she was “excited” to be working with the company as part of their wireless communications technology because she believed it enhanced human relationships if they could easily stay in contact and reach out to one another. T-Mobile added that the “Chicago” star brought international appeal, intellect, and style to the company.
