Carry On
These girls seemed to be having trouble with their routine, but that didn’t stop them from enjoying the moment. These high school cheerleaders were having the time of their lives, and pretty sure they thought about their matching ribbons with much gusto.
However, they would probably look more like the stereotypical cheerleaders with their pom-poms. As per Children’s Museum, cheerleaders and spectators alike have been rocking pom poms since the ’30s; it’s amazing! Initially, the pom poms were made from tissue paper, which was soon replaced with more durable plastic in the ’60s. That same design is still used today.
