That Must Have Hurt
Cheerleading has its roots in the United States, dating back to 1884 when the male pep club of Princeton University began rooting for their football players. However, it is believed to have originated in Great Britain in the 1860s, with Thomas Peebles and Johnny Campbell as the first cheerleaders.
While men started the trend, it took around four decades before women began participating in cheerleading. Today, this recreational activity is mainly associated with women, which is probably why we see a lot of girls on this fail list. Still, just like what this image shows, men are willing to help their literally fallen counterparts.
