Carole Cook – Age 97

The always-classy Carole Cook is an all-around actress who excelled in film, TV, and theatre. A Texas native, she became a protegé of the late actress/comedian Lucille Ball in the late ’50s and appeared on The Lucy Show and Here’s Lucy. Years later, she made it to the cast of popular movies such as Knight Rider and Sixteen Candles.

A supporter of several AIDS organizations, Cook is not officially retired, even though she hasn’t been on camera since appearing in the 2018 musical Waiting in the Wings: Still Waiting. In 2021, you can see her in the documentary Broadway: Beyond the Golden Age.
