Jim Carter – Age 72

Even at 72, Jim Carter continues to perform for his fans, who will next see him reprise his iconic Mr. Carson character in the upcoming sequel of Downton Abbey. People may also recognize him in Knightfall, Shakespeare in Love, and Brassed Off.

Carter is happily married to Imelda Staunton, who Harry Potter fans know as Dolores Umbridge. They met in the ’80s as they worked together on the play Guys and Dolls, and they just clicked. Like him, the 65-year-old actress has yet to hit the brakes on her career as she will star with her husband in Downton Abbey 2 and The Canterville Ghost.
