It’s hard to put Vanessa Redgrave’s brilliant career into numbers, but we have one for you: 149. That’s the number of productions that Redgrave has worked on, and it’s been a long journey ever since she landed her acting debut alongside her father, actor Sir Michael Redgrave, in the 1958 medical drama Behind the Mask.

This London native beauty got her breakthrough with the 1977 World War II drama Julia and hasn’t stopped since. In 2021, she made it to the romantic drama Finding You and to the most recent season of the TV series Call the Midwife.
