Jake Steinfeld – Age 63

Sometimes great acts of defiance occur when we are children. A teenage kid from Long Island, with a thick New York accent and too much fat on his bones, looked down at the Twinkies that his parent gave to him, and he said, “No, not for me, dad.”

To think this kid would grow up to be Jake Steinfield, the fitness guru, is something. He is a famed fitness instructor across the United States and is the CEO of  Jake (Body by Jake), through which he developed his other business interests. In 2021, he became a spokesperson for exercise’s benefits, given the pandemic’s effects on mobility.
