Susan Maughan – Age 82
Susan Maughan is an English singer who started her career in the early ’50s. She’s best known for her chart-topping hit “Bobby’s Girl,” a cover version of a Marcie Blane single that received considerable airtime both in the UK and in Norway. She continued to record music all the way until the mid-’70s and released two compilation records in the ’90s.
It’s been a while since we’ve last heard of Maughan. Given her advanced age, it’s only natural. She’s most likely enjoying her golden years in her Eastbourne residence, where she lives with her second husband, the theatre director Nick Leigh.
