Alun Armstrong – Age 74

In a 2019 interview, Alun Armstrong, known for portraying Brian Lane in the show New Tricks, admitted that he now likes not working because he realized that he used to be a workaholic who didn’t have too much time for his family. Looking back, he does appreciate that he earned more than enough for them, but then he thought that he got obsessed with his job.

Despite this, Armstrong maintained he has no plans of retiring but does plan to keep his sharp memory. He admitted he doesn’t fear dying or getting old but is terrified that he may not be able to memorize his lines.
