Roberta Flack – Age 84

Roberta Flack is an artist whose craft is expressed in jazz, as well as the R&B scene. She was the first artist to win a Grammy for Record of The Year for two consecutive years. She is infamously known for one of her songs being sung in every amateur Idol’s audition: “Killing Me Softly With His Song.”

Even in her eighth decade of life, Flack is still making music. In 2018 she released “Running,” and in 2020, she was awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2021, she is working behind the scenes at The Roberta Flack Foundation.
