Gemma Merna – 35 – Yoga Teacher

Gemma Merna is a quite recognizable figure in the UK, thanks to her modeling and acting success. Her most notable role was the one of Carmel McQueen on Hollyoaks, a popular soap opera which aired on Channel 4. Merna worked there for eight years until finally deciding to quit the acting industry to focus on yoga teaching. As she revealed in an interview on FEMAIL in 2016, working for 12 hours a day had exhausted her, and despite getting good earnings, she didn’t regret retiring from acting to pursue her passion for yoga. Nowadays, she’s a full-time yoga instructor and we think that she’s quite happy with that.
