Peter Ostrum – 61 – Veterinary Surgeon

Peter Ostrum is best known for portraying the role of Charlie Bucket in the movie, Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory. This is actually the only acting role he ever did, as he realized that the acting career was not really for him. Although, the money he has received from royalties reportedly amounts to $8-$9 million as of 2018. Ostrum later got interested in a career as a veterinarian after his family got their own horse.  He earned a  Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1984 and in 2018, he started working in New York’s Countryside Veterinary Clinic.
