Al Green – 72 – Preacher

Al Green is a famous soul singer who was very popular during the 1970s. Some of his most popular singles were I’m Still in Love with You, Let’s Stay Together, and Take Me to the River. By 1995, Green had managed to land a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

When Green’s ex-girlfriend named Mary Woodson White committed suicide back in 1974, he decided to change his life completely. Green became a pastor and released a number of Gospel albums. Green’s last soul album was the 2008 Lay It Down. Green is currently 72 years old and his fortune in the bank is estimated at $20 million.
