Alex James – 50 – Cheesemaker & Journalist

Alex James came to prominence as the bassist for the hit rock band, Blur. The group became one of the best-selling bands in the UK and helped shape the Britpop genre, selling millions of albums worldwide. Though in 2018, the group’s frontman revealed that they wouldn’t be reuniting ever again, James found different ways to make money. He has been involved in the food industry for many years, and he even had a column on The Telegraph where he wrote about food and music. He’s also a cheesemaker, producing his own cheese, mainly artisan and everyday cheese, and some of his products have been distributed to supermarkets.
