Mike and Janet Huckabee – Together Since 1974

Mike and Janet Huckabee’s love story began in junior high school in Hope, Arkansas. They married on May 25, 1974, after their first year of college, both at the age of 18. The couple has three children: John Mark, David, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Sarah followed in her father’s political footsteps, serving as the White House Press Secretary and later becoming the Governor of Arkansas.​

Throughout their marriage, Janet has been a steadfast supporter of Mike’s political endeavors, including his tenure as Governor of Arkansas and his presidential campaigns. She also served as the state’s First Lady, overseeing a significant renovation of the Governor’s Mansion.​
