During the height of their careers, celebrities get to enjoy receiving huge paychecks along with their fame. While some of them have careers that have slowed down or just completely faded away, a lot of celebs left Hollywood to pursue other interests or just live life as a normal person.

Few men are as experienced as Tom Selleck is when it comes to being a TV actor. His performances on Rockford Files and Magnum P.I. were truly unforgettable, but it seems that acting is not Selleck’s only talent. Selleck lives in a 60-acre property in Westlake Village, California, and when he’s not on-set, he spends his time primarily growing avocados.

He’s claimed that he truly doesn’t like them, but he does love agricultural activities, as he’s confirmed himself. Selleck was in trouble when in 2015, it was reported that he’d been stealing water before the huge California drought hit, and he was ordered to pay a $21.6K fine.
