The Australian aquatic sensation Annette Kellerman is the inspiration for her most well-known 1952 film, “Million Dollar Mermaid.” The movie represents William’s ultimate exhibition of her phenomenal swimming abilities.
The hit movie “Easy to Love” is a technicolor musical masterpiece that was directed by Charles Walters and starred Tony Martin and Van Johnson. The film will forever be remembered as William’s final water-based movie set, where the pool is designed in the shape of the State of Florida. The “Bathing Beauty” actress looked gorgeous in her retro white suit holding a water ski.
