SHARON TATE – DON’T MAKE WAVES, 1967
Sharon Tate became a household name in the ’60s thanks to her acting debut as an extra in 1961’s “Barabbas” and her appearance in a major role in the 1966 horror film “Eye of the Devil.” A year later, the “Valley of the Dolls” actress broke out in the movie “Don’t Make Waves.”
Tate played ‘Malibu’ in the film that was intended to capture the popularity of beach movies. Most of its scenes were shot at the shore, as it was a fascination in the ’60s. “The Fearless Vampire Killers” actress rocked this lovely green bikini top, purple culottes, and chunky green and white bungles.
