TRINA PARKS – DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, 1971
Trina Parks may be oozing Black beauty, but she’s also a brilliant performer known for her versatile acting skills and choreography, as well as being a vocalist, principal dancer, and dance coach. Her journey began in theater before she transitioned to TV and film work, appearing in “Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.”
One of her outstanding achievements is becoming the first African-American woman to be cast in a James Bond film sequel, starring in “Diamonds Are Forever” in 1971. She played Thumper, Whyte’s bodyguard, with this outstanding vintage swimsuit memorably featuring in one of the movie scenes, accessorized with a choker.
