‘Sir’ is Michael Gambon’s official title after being knighted by the Queen. The 80-year old actor has been turning heads since his rise to fame, executing each role he bagged with the utmost tenacity, to the point of a corner at a race track now being named after him.

Gambon’s long winding stint in the acting industry has been one uphill ride, one that has been propelled by the fact that he is English, the ethnicity not having produced the most renowned actors as their American counterparts.
