Ian McKellen
In British film history, we don’t think anyone has impacted the industry as Ian McKellen has over the years. The veteran actor has had a massively successful career, having starred in over fifty productions with his role as Gandalf in The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings trilogies, bringing him critical acclaim.
McKellen is a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community, having come out as gay in 1988, the venerated performer has been involved in numerous social causes and supports several charity organizations. It’s safe to say that his status as a cultural icon is one well-deserved, and we hope to see him in more blockbusters!
