Angelina Jolie
Getting into Hollywood was kind of inevitable for Angelina Jolie since her father is the legendary Jon Voight. Nevertheless, having a well-known actor for a parent may be one’s ticket to Hollywood, but it doesn’t mean success automatically follows. Being the daughter of Voight didn’t make the actress’ entry into the acting world easy, especially when she went through difficult teenage years.
As a teen, Jolie was enrolled in acting classes by her mother but eventually dropped out to become a funeral director. She finally got through that phase and went back to theater studies. The star’s breakthrough role was through HBO’s Gia, where she portrayed supermodel Gia Carangi.
