A State That Loves Company

You can express yourself on Twitter about anything without any fear of recourse, which is fantastic. When this person with the username CrazysBigSister tweeted the common saying “Misery loves company,” she was probably taking advantage of exactly that. It’s just that she worded the quotation incorrectly, referring to Missouri instead.

So, she didn’t mean the state loves company but intended the actual message of the saying. It’s also conceivable, in her defense, that she was just talking about something else entirely. On the bright side, “Missouri Loves Company” is a song by Ringo Starr, and we’ve heard it’s also the title of a book by W.J. Costello.
