We Are Clear… Not False Advertising

Based on this advertisement, we’re sure that no one ever believed that this business offered big hotdogs for sale. But it appears that they were only covering possible loopholes in case someone was to decide to sue them for misleading advertising. Paying a sizable litigation payment was probably not among their marketing strategies!

Can you really blame them? The federal Lanham Act makes it possible for them or any other company to face legal litigation no matter which state they operate in. Any type of misrepresentation of a product’s features and other dishonest promotional techniques are prohibited by this law.
