Sue Nicholls – Audrey Roberts from Coronation Street

The experienced Sue Nicholls tried her luck on Broadway and in the Crossroads soap before finding her true calling: portraying the recurring character of Audrey Roberts in Coronation Street. While Nicholls left for two years in 1982, she made a 1984 comeback and hasn’t left since.

In total, Nicholls has made it to a whopping 3,063 Coronation Street episodes (and still counting)! She loves her Coronation Street family so much that she even married one of her co-stars, English actor Mark Eden. This year, Eden has sadly passed away after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
