Louisa Lytton – Ruby Allen from EastEnders

A Camden native, the beautiful Louisa Lytton has spent the last 16 years in the role of Ruby Allen. Her character did leave EastEnders in 2006 but came back in 2018. After her return, Allen was at the center of a special episode about the topic of romantic consent, which was praised by viewers and critics alike.

While Lytton is best known for her EastEnders role, she worked extensively in the cop-drama The Bill, portraying the character of Beth Green between 1997 and 2009. A talented singer, Lytton performed as Betty Rizzo in a Grease stage production and represented the United Kingdom in the 2008 Eurovision Dance Contest.
