Juicy Watermelon
Watermelons are not native to Russia, but that hasn’t stopped them from finding unique ways to enjoy them. In this photo, a man who bears a striking resemblance to Vladimir Putin is using a chainsaw to cut open a watermelon in a very violent fashion.
Despite its strange appearance, this method of slicing fruit is not uncommon in the Motherland. While many Russians enjoy traditional fruit like apples and pears, melons are a popular summertime treat, often eaten at outdoor picnics or barbecues. Whether using a chainsaw or a more conventional knife, Russians know how to enjoy their fruit in their own unique way.
