Weighty Matters

Contrary to popular belief, obesity is a growing concern in Russia. In fact, a 2019 analysis by Karger revealed that about a third of all Russians (30.3%) are obese, which is almost on par with the US obesity rate of 34.9%. And the trend is not improving, as Russia’s obesity rate has surged by nearly 50% in just five years!

Considering this alarming statistic, it’s no surprise that Russian vehicles are built tough to handle heavy loads. While this little car is certainly giving its all, it seems to be carrying a few too many bricks for its own good.
