This man chose not to utilize his umbrella for whatever reason and preferred to get exposed instead. Considering several geographical inventions, this man’s decision may make some sense.

According to Britannica, it continued to serve the same purpose even as it evolved into more of a trendy design between the 18th and 19th centuries.
