The Magic Freezer Bottle
Obviously, we wouldn’t need a degree in science to understand that this “magic trick” is actually how ice often forms in freezers. However, it appears that one perplexed Twitter user believed that a block of ice had somehow managed to fit into this plastic container.
Though the process by which water turns into ice is a fairly miraculous natural event, we can’t really blame them for asking. The Science Learning Hub claims that when water is liquid, its molecules may move around freely. But when the temperature drops, they begin to flow more slowly and consolidate, leading to the formation of ice.
