Re-Vamped Prom Dress

This young lady had a very specific idea of the prom outfit she wanted to wear, and, believe it or not, it was based on a garment her mother had worn to her own dance. Here’s an inside look at the daughter’s attempt to give the outfit a more up-to-date appearance.

Some of the dress’s original length below the knees and the ruffles that adorned the shoulders were cut off. She also opted to give the gown a more fit-and-flare silhouette by making the skirt slightly puffy in the back. There are indeed many cute photos here, but this one particularly warmed our hearts.
