Four Women, One Dress

For four generations, this family has passed down the same pink dress. Their great-grandmother displayed amazing taste in vintage clothing in 1962 when she wore this for the first time. After that, three generations of women cherished and wore this exquisite piece.

The latest person to wear the gown is on the bottom right of the collage. The timeless appeal of the pink, tiered attire is undeniable. The great-granddaughter followed her mother’s lead in prom hairstyling, but she added a special touch by embellishing her own hairdo with jewels. In the same vein, she decided she didn’t need her mother’s long white gloves.
