To Have Loved And Lost…
At the 2014 Burning Man festival stood “Embrace,” a majestic 72-foot tall sculpture depicting two human figures leaning into each other, their faces almost touching. Crafted with intricate details and towering over the attendees, the wooden figures represented deep love and connection, not just for those present but also in memory of those missed.
The brainchild of passionate artists, it took ten months of dedication to bring “Embrace” to life. Yet, in the spirit of the festival, this breathtaking artwork was set aflame, burning away in under four minutes. The sculpture depicts the fleeting moments of love and togetherness, urging us to cherish them.
