This ’90s Superstar Was Left Out of the New “Twin Peaks”

When the David Lynch classic “Twin Peaks” returned to the screen in 2017, many fans were surprised not to see Lara Flynn Boyle. A bonafide small-screen superstar in the ’90s, she was made famous for her appearances in the original “Twin Peaks” series, “The Practice,” and movies such as “Men in Black II” and “Happiness.”

Now married to a real estate agent, Boyle was seen for the last time in the forgettable 2020 action flick “Death in Texas.” Her other most-recent projects go to show how she’s fallen out of favor, and include a teen comedy titled “Cougar Hunting” and “Lucky Dog,” in which she played a minor role.
