Featured in 2022’s “Martin Cast Reunion Special,” the “Bad Boys” star Martin Lawrence was once one of the top-requested actors in Hollywood. But if Lawrence is that famous, why did he spend over four years away from show business following his appearance in the 2014 TV series “Partners?”

Sadly, Lawrence’s personal and legal issues caused him to have a stress-related nervous breakdown. He spent years away from acting, only to make a comeback with the 2019 Harmony Korine comedy “The Beach Bum.” In 2020, he starred in the blockbuster “Bad Boys for Life.”
