Tom Watt – Lofty Holloway from EastEnders
In the mid-’80s, a young Tom Watt made his EastEnders debut as Lofty Holloway, a character generally depicted as a sensitive man with little to no luck. Watt and Lofty remained in the show until 1988 and made a surprising 2019 comeback to attend Dr. Harold Legg’s funeral.
While it’s sad that Lofty made it to less than 300 EastEnders episodes, Watt has managed to continue to work as an actor and has made a name for himself as a radio host and sports documentary host/writer. Away from the small screen since his 2019 cameo, Watt has also appeared in the blockbusters Sherlock Holmes and The Electrician.
