American lass, Sydney Smith once wore a necklace of brass rings around her neck for five years. This is so that she can be more like her favorite animal, the giraffe. She was inspired by the Kayan Lahwi people from Asia, who wear these rings from a young age. Smith removed them due to discomfort.
