From Justin Bieber to Michael Cera, These Canadian Superstars Have Made a Name for Themselves Globally

Emmanuelle Chriqui

Actress Emmanuelle Chriqui was born in Montreal, Quebec, while her parents were both Moroccans who moved to Canada while she was just an infant. Her mother always encouraged her to become an actress. And she did become one relatively early in life when she appeared in a Mcdonald’s commercial aged only ten.

Her major onscreen roles started in the mid-’90s after she moved to Vancouver and acted in titles such as “Harrison Bergeron” and “The Donor.” As far as her acting in Hollywood is concerned, she’s famously known as Sloan McQuewick from the popular TV series “Entourage” and Lana Lang Cushing from “Superman & Lois.”
