From Justin Bieber to Michael Cera, These Canadian Superstars Have Made a Name for Themselves Globally
Michael J. Fox
Film star Michael J. Fox was born in Edmonton, Alberta. He holds citizenship in both the United States and Canada. Fox was inducted into the Canada Walk of Fame in 2000 in the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2002, while he was also appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2010.
Even though Fox made his film debut in the 1980 feature “Midnight Madness,” he’ll always be known as Marty McFly from the sci-fi movie series “Back to the Future.” The film’s director cast him to replace Eric Stoltz, who probably wasn’t doing justice to the character.
