From Justin Bieber to Michael Cera, These Canadian Superstars Have Made a Name for Themselves Globally

Mike Myers

Now looking back at the ’90s and early ’00s, it was an era ruled by the comedy genre in Hollywood. And a few names that always pop up looking back at those years are the likes of A-list talents such as Mike Myers, Jim Carrey, Eddie Murphy, and Jackie Chan. Myers is, of course, on the list for his work in film franchises such as “Austin Powers,” “Wayne’s World,” and “Shrek.”

Interestingly the iconic character of Austin Powers was Myers’ own creation, and he also wrote or co-wrote all of the films. Hailing from Toronto, the comedian was titled the Officer of the Order of Canada.
