Alessia Cara was born in Mississauga but bought up in Brampton. She got famous primarily in Canada but in the United States with her debut single and album, which she released when she was only 18 and 19 years of age, thereby gaining colossal success commercially.

But Cara is more than just a singer. She voiced the character of Jane in the animated film “The Willoughbys.” The dual-citizenship holder from Italy and Canada was the first person ever to win the Best New Artist award at the Grammys.
