A Common Sight at Splash Mountain

Ride malfunctions are the usual culprit forcing the attractions to close down temporarily at the ‘Happiest Place on Earth.’ But Splash Mountain has other reasons for closure. The ride is all set for a makeover. “Princess and the Frog” will be the new theme, with ‘Tiana’s Bayou Adventure’ as the title. The ride is scheduled to operate in late 2024.

Splash Mountain became popular in the ’90s when women lifted their T-shirts before being snapped at the climactic drop. They inspired unique ideas to make the ride memorable. The girls here got way too serious about their photo-op before the plunge.
