RITA JOHAL – WIFE OF RIYAD MAHREZ

Although Riyad Mahrez was actually born in France, he chose to play for the Algerian national team. He has represented the country in major championships there since 2014 and has played in 67 games to date. As an attacking midfielder, he has scored 21 goals in those 67 games.

However, his football career started in the French city of Sarchelles and until 2014 he also played exclusively for French clubs. He was taken over by Leicester City in 2014 and then by Manchester City in 2018. The woman at his side is his wife Rita Johal, who is from Great Britain. The couple got married in 2015 and gave birth to a daughter in the same year.
